We’re seeking a Full-stack Developer to help shape the future of social connectedness in
hybrid enterprises.

Context and Opportunity
In the era of hybrid work, informal interactions — once common in office hallways or break
rooms — have diminished. This creates a sense of disconnection that affects employees and their employers. Research by Gallup indicates that engagement and connectedness at work are closely tied to organizational success and employee well-being. Rather than forcing employees back to the office, our partner believes in empowering hybrid teams with digital tools that foster meaningful interactions, no matter where individuals are located.
This product is a Microsoft Teams app, enabling seamless integration into the modern
workday and setting a foundation for scalable, exponential growth across large enterprises.
Product customers include world-leading companies such as Nestlé, Siemens, Arla, Novonesis and many more. You will help build the product that facilitates all their hybrid team activities.

Technical Background
Stack is primarily based on React, Next.js, Typescript, and WebRTC for real-time
communication. We leverage Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Vercel for our cloud and
deployment solutions. We also use Firebase for in-session and long-term storage, as well as for running additional logic. Our recent projects include developing an in-teams-bot version of our application, utilizing the botbuilder framework from Microsoft. This showcases the importance of being able to research and learn new technologies and platforms quickly.
We also run a WordPress site with WPengine, the first video library we used as an MVP for our first customers.

What will be your work focus:

  • Feature Development and Optimization: This entails not only the introduction of fresh features but also the maintenance and optimization of the existing codebase to
    guarantee high performance and scalability. You need a proactive approach to
    problem-solving and a willingness to dive deep into the code to enhance its efficiency
    and functionality.
  • UI/UX Implementation and Optimization: Translate mockups into responsive interfaces, focusing on a good user experience.
  • Collaboration and Code Reviews: Work closely with teams to meet business needs, engage in code reviews, and uphold best practices.
  • Problem-Solving and Debugging: Quickly identify and resolve platform issues through effective debugging and troubleshooting.

Requirements and possibilities for the future

This is a full-time role for a Full Stack Engineer with strong communication skills in English.
The right applicant will have sufficient experience with our stack to be able to contribute
quickly. There will be plenty of opportunities to grow with the company in this role.
